There are various organziations trying to prevent, and create awareness. they are also trying to give knowledge of the harm it is causing to humans and the enviornment.

A swirling sea of plastic bags, bottles and other debris are growing in the North Pacific. There is so much that they can't get rid of it. Another reason they can't get rid of it is because the animals are living in it. The majority of it is placstic and it won't decompose.

Alternative Fuel

Biodiesel is from vegetable oils and animal fats. Ethanol is produced from corn and other crops. Natural gas is a fossil fuel that generates less air pollutants and greenhouse gases. These are different alternatives for fueling vehicles.
