Tsunamis have hurt many people. They're caused by earthquakes some of the time. They can destroy a lot of people's personal property. People have lost their homes and lives from these tsunami's. They can track them to help and save some people but they still can't stop them.

Air Pollution

Air pollution can cause health effects. It can cause short and long term damage. It also hurts the enviornment by hurting  the ozone layer. Air pollution comes from cars. There are several types of pollution, they are smog, acid rain and the green house effect. There are various organziations trying to prevent, and create awareness. they are also trying to give knowledge of the harm it is causing to humans and the enviornment.

A swirling sea of plastic bags, bottles and other debris are growing in the North Pacific. There is so much that they can't get rid of it. Another reason they can't get rid of it is because the animals are living in it. The majority of it is placstic and it won't decompose.

Alternative Fuel

Biodiesel is from vegetable oils and animal fats. Ethanol is produced from corn and other crops. Natural gas is a fossil fuel that generates less air pollutants and greenhouse gases. These are different alternatives for fueling vehicles.

The Exxon Valdez oil spill was one of the most publicized and studied environmental tragedies in history.

It took place by Alaska.

It happened in the year of 1989.

Some reports say that the captain was drunk then some say he was sleeping.

My water is from Masontown Muni-waterworks. It has nitrate, trihalomethanes, total haloacetic acids. My water is drinkable but I don't drink it because I don't like the taste of it.

Bioluminescense

 I have heard about bioluminesence. I know that some fish use bioluminesence as a flashlight. I know that fish use this property but I don't know any other organisms that use it. I think a function of this could be to help fish see or to help other fish see them.

1. The types of chromium discussed are Chromium III and Chromium VI.
2. The good chromium is Chromium III. It is vital to your body in small amounts, but if you are exposed to too much of it then it will cause bad health effects. Chromium VI is the bad chromium and it can cause alot of bad health problems.
3. The health implications to the exposure of Chromium III would be shortages may cause heart conditions, disruptions of metabolism and diabetes. Too much can give you and instant rash. Chromium VI can cause cancer, weakened immune system, liver and kidney damage.
